CATV/Internet Project
Over the past year, there have been many discussions by the Council and community concerning the City’s proposal to upgrade the cable television system. The decision to move forward with the planning for this project are based on the current condition of the City’s cable system and the increased demand from our customers for improvements to our
services.

The Council has reviewed numerous options including keeping the system as is and programming annual capital expenditures to address failing equipment within the system. By moving forward with the project, the City will be able to improve the quality of our services, add additional stations that have been requested by our customers, improve high speed internet performance, and add unlimited local and long distance phone service.
