In Norway the police know most folks by name or at least by site. We live in a "small town" that is very safe. Because we live near US 8 and US 2 there are Michigan State Police on patrol in our area.

Dickinson County was voted #85 in the 100 Best Counties to live in in the Midwest. That says it better than we can. Take a look at the report. (pdf)
 

Norway Drinking Water
Norway water has excellent taste with no chemical odor. Visitors and citizens remark how good it tastes.

Water hardness level for 2009 is 270 PPM, 14 grains, and PH is 7.3 if you are considering a water softner.
